A campino rides the dirt track in his red waistcoat, the long pampilho across his saddle, walking a black bull along the lezíria. Behind them the Tejo runs wide and slow past the flat flooded fields, one sailing boat out on the water and vineyards on the far bank. Tall reeds and pink wildflowers crowd the foreground.
