A flower-filled balcony opens onto a Portuguese village and the water beyond, while swallows cross the morning sky. In Portuguese tradition, the swallow carries a particularly fitting symbolism: it returns home year after year, becoming an enduring symbol of home, fidelity and belonging.
Part of the Brave New View Collection, this tile celebrates that first morning in a new place, whether you have come for a few days or to begin a new life. That quiet moment when you draw open the shutters, look out at your new view and think, I am really here.
