Portuguese Tile Society ships worldwide from Portugal.

We work with international shipping carriers to safely deliver decorative tile orders to customers across the world. Shipping times and carrier availability may vary depending on destination country, customs processing, weather conditions, and local postal services.

Processing Times

Most standard orders are processed within 3–7 business days.

Custom tile orders may require additional design and production time. Estimated timelines for custom orders will be communicated during the approval process.

Orders are not shipped on weekends or Portuguese public holidays.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to most international destinations. If your country is unavailable during checkout, please contact us before placing your order.

Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping information is entered correctly at checkout.

Estimated Delivery Times

Estimated shipping times vary by region:

  • Portugal: 2–5 business days
  • Europe: 5–12 business days
  • United States & Canada: 7–21 business days
  • International destinations: 10–30 business days

These timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs fees, VAT, import duties, or local taxes depending on your country’s regulations.

Portuguese Tile Society is not responsible for customs delays or additional import charges applied by your local government or shipping carrier.

Customers are responsible for any applicable import fees.

Tracking Information

Tracking information will be provided when available once your order ships.

Some international shipping methods may have limited tracking updates after the package leaves Portugal.

Damaged Packages

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at shipping@portuguesetilesociety.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the damaged product
  • Photos of the packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

We may offer a replacement or refund after review.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Portuguese Tile Society is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs processing
  • Postal disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Carrier issues
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

If your package appears lost, please contact us and we will do our best to assist with the carrier investigation process.
