The Pilgrim's Table

The end of the day on the Camino. A pack hangs on the back of a wooden chair with a scallop shell tied to it, the staff leans beside it, and on the table there is a bowl of soup, bread torn open and a glass of red wine. Beside a blue door, a pot of greenery stands on a stone step.

In blue and white, with the bread and the wine in their own colours, for anyone who remembers the first meal after a long walk better than any view.
